People are not Production Ready

I am somewhat tired of hearing things like “Svelte is not production-ready yet”, or “You need to use production-ready databases like PostgreSQL”.

Many animals are not born production-ready. People is the animal who is totally not born production-ready. Because the magic here is to throw a thing into a real environment, and let the environment teach the thing. While trying to wait until the thing is production-ready is delaying real-word tests and learning.

Perfectionism” (just like “quiality”) has become a place to hide. Because “one can’t ship until there a thing is perfect”, right? As Van Neistat said, “Perfectionism is a form of arrogance. Disruptive perfectionism is a form of cowardice”1. So ship it ffs.
